Sangria with passion fruit

Ingredients

  • 1 bottle of Lussory Chardonnay White Wine (750 ml).
  • 1 cup natural passion fruit juice (approximately 5-6 passion fruits).
  • (Preparation: Blend 1 cup of passion fruit pulp + ½ cup of water + ⅓ cup of sugar. Strain to remove some of the seeds and use some as a decorative effect in the drink)
  • 1/4 teaspoon non-alcoholic rum extract to give the drink a more complex flavor (optional)
  • 1/4 cup sugar
  • 1 orange, sliced ​​and peeled
  • 1 lemon, sliced ​​and peeled.
  • 1 apple, cut into pieces
  • 1 cup of Lussory brut wine
  • Ice cubes

  1. In a large container, pour the Lussory Chardonnay white wine.
  2. Cut the passion fruit in half and remove the pulp with a spoon (follow the procedure above). Add the passion fruit juice to the container with the wine.
  3. Add the non-alcoholic rum extract and sugar to the bowl and mix well until the sugar is completely dissolved.
  4. Add the orange slices, lemon slices and apple pieces to the bowl. Stir gently to combine the ingredients.
  5. Cover the container with plastic wrap or a lid and refrigerate for at least 2 hours (or preferably overnight) to encourage maceration and allow the flavors to blend.
  6. Just before serving, add the Lussory brut wine to the container and stir gently.
  7. Add ice cubes to each glass and serve the passion fruit sangria.

If you wish, you can decorate each glass with a slice of orange or a sprig of mint.
